Become a creative thinker in digital technologies, able to provide solutions requiring a web presence to communicate and/or entertain. Create a seamless interface between the message and the user, applying traditional design methods to emerging technologies. Students learn current mark-up languages such as HTML5 and CSS3 combined with frameworks and libraries, to provide the structure for robust, responsive design regardless of the viewing device. Content management systems (CMS) are also introduced. Contemporary web design is the intersection of corporate appearance and technical functionality.
