The award in Java Programming begins with an introduction to programming using the Java programming language. It then covers advanced concepts, structures, and methods used in Java-based development. The Occupational Skills Award is a sequence of courses that allows students to obtain high in-demand skills or improve their current skills.<br>The Java Programming award prepares students to work as a Computer Programmer in both commercial and non-profit settings. The program provides students with hands-on experience developing software packages using the latest technologies in the computer industry.<br>Occupational Skills Awards are embedded into A.A.S and/or Certificate program plans.
