The Computer Information Systems - Microcomputer Certificate Program has been designed to provide training in computer skills to meet the needs of students to adapt and succeed in the rapid growth and application of new and emerging computer technologies. The program includes a wide range of courses in computer areas such as networking, programming, and applications in order to provide training to develop marketable skills or an opportunity for college graduates to upgrade their computer skills or prepare for a career change. Students without any computer experience should complete CMP 100 (Computing Technology in Today's Society) before entering the certificate program.
