The Geographic Information Science Program will prepare graduates with knowledge and skills for a variety of career paths related to the acquisition, analysis, and management of geospatial data and information. Career paths include education towards advanced degrees and employment in the fields of Geomatics and Geographic Information Systems. The College of Science and Engineering offers undergraduate and graduate degrees in basic and applied sciences to support the technical requirements of our post-industrial society. In addition, the College provides many courses supporting the science literacy requirements of non-majors. Specialized course offerings and degree sequences support Education majors seeking science and mathematics teaching certifications.
