This program teaches advanced technical skills for students and working professionals that have completed an Associate of Applied Science degree in Computer and Information Technology. Concentration areas allow students to expand their skill in the specialty area of their choice. This certificate is also accepted as the third year of study at other institutions that articulate a joint Bachelor of Applied Science degree with the College of Southern Nevada.<br><br>Student Learning Outcomes<br>Develop system design specifications based on prescribed criteria.<br>Code systems within the scope of concentration area.<br>Debug systems within the scope of concentration area.<br>Recommend hardware and/or software within scope of concentration area.<br>Formulate advanced project management timetables and costs.<br>Incorporate scalability and redundancy into system designs.
