The programs meet the needs of students preparing for professional careers in the fields of information systems or cyber security. This mission includes providing a broad-based education through the university's core curriculum, as well as education in current business and information systems or cyber security topics. The department is responsive to the needs of employers and other constituents of its programs. The department is aware of rapid changes in technology. We incorporate these changes into the curriculum as is practical. The faculty assists in accomplishing the departmental mission through a planned integration of contributions in teaching, intellectual contributions, and service.
