Upon successful completion of the Computer Information Systems Associate in Science degree, the student is prepared for careers in web site development or computer network maintenance, or transfer to a four-year college or university. Skills and knowledge include the ability to identify and correct computer security problems and network components, and logically solve computer-related software issues. Specific courses in each specialization further refine the knowledge base in each discipline. Students may choose from a variety of approved General Education courses to complete the degree.
