Your personal statement should clear, but briefly, state why you are interested in joining the graduate program in Applied Physics offered by our department.
It should include information that you believe is relevant for your application but that is not in your undergraduate transcript - especially work and/or research experience in physics related fields. Physics-related being interpreted widely to include work done in almost any quantitative science or engineering field, including mathematics, finance, medical, biophysics, chemistry or, for instance, MRI-experience gained in
psychological research.
