The Master of Science (M.S.) degree program degree in physics require a combination of appropriate coursework and original research mentored by a graduate faculty member leading to the completion of a research thesis that is presented and defended by the candidate in a public forum.<br>Physics is the most fundamental of the sciences and by choosing to study this exciting and challenging field, you have the potential to have an enormous impact on our society.<br><br>TU programs are designed to combine theoretical knowledge in fields such as quantum mechanics and condensed matter physics and practical experience in fields such as nanotechnology, optics, lasers, or solid-state physics.
