They offer our students rigorous academic programs and opportunities for student- and faculty-led research with a goal of employment in the exciting world of science. Their graduates excel in the fields of academia, industry and government and often pursue postgraduate education.<br><br>In addition to their rigorous academic program, students are provided with many opportunities to work side-by-side with faculty on research projects such as developing improved flame retardants, studying biodegradation of polymer coatings and discovering new photodynamic lung cancer treatments. Recent graduates are employed as scientists in academia, industry and government, or pursuing postgraduate education.
