Purdue University's analytical chemistry program is the top graduate program in the United States. With 14 faculty members and more than 110 graduate students, our program is one of the largest in the world. Analytical Chemistry at Purdue has strong emphases on mass spectrometry and imaging (Cooks, Kenttamaa, J. Laskin, McLuckey, and Tao), NMR spectroscopy (Yang), structure biology (Yang and Metskas), environmental chemistry (A. Laskin and Michalski), soft matter and nanostructures (Claridge and Mao), optical spectroscopy and imaging (Simpson, Metskas, and Zhang), machine learning and immunology (Chopra), electrochemistry (Dick) and separation technology (Wirth).
