Our graduate program seeks to develop the next generation of geoscientists and informed citizens who will shape our planet's future. Our department is an international leader in teaching and research. We offer an excellent student-teacher ratio with small class sizes in a collaborative environment. Our research spans the enormity of geological time in geographic realms far and wide: from the tropics to polar regions, continents to oceans, Earth's surface to deep beneath it, and to the Moon and Mars.
