The department offers programs leading to M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Earth Science within a diverse array of specializations, including: geobiology, geochemistry, geochronology, geomorphology, geophysics, paleoclimatology, paleoceanography, paleobiology, petrology, Quaternary geology, sedimentology and stratigraphy, seismology, structural geology, and tectonics.
