The Advanced Technology Program is designed to serve individuals who desire hands-on training and education for the acquisition or advancement of a technical career in areas such as manufacturing, electronics, industrial production, process control, computer aided design and drafting, facilities management, and CNC operations. The program is flexible enough that it can serve those both at entry level and those with established skills who seek technical growth or advancement through continued education. The program provides for up to 24 credits to be awarded toward the Associate of Applied Science Degree for technical courses or certificates completed at the college. The curriculum includes general education and information technology cores that will develop skills in communication, computer applications and applied science while strengthening problem solving and critical thinking skills essential to career advancement.
