As a radiologic sciences professional you could utilize radiant energy, ionizing radiation (X-rays), other forms of electromagnetic energy, and sound waves for the imaging, diagnosis, and treatment of disease. Each distinct specialization has its own accreditation, educational and clinical training requirements.
