The professionally-accredited BSc (Hons) Building Services Engineering Project Management at Liverpool John Moores University is informed by ongoing research and extensive links with industry and employers, who offer exciting paid placement opportunities.Building services engineering encompasses heating, lighting, power, lifts, air conditioning and other services, each one being a self-contained discipline. Within a project, each of these disciplines will have their own priorities and targets. As project manager, you would not only manage and liaise with the various engineering trades involved, you would also work closely with builders, architects, structural engineers, civil engineers, contractors and lawyers to ensure that all of the different technologies merge into one functional, efficient building - and all within the constraints of budget, time and quality. Three years full time or four years with one year spent on industrial placement.
