The Pre-Masters Programme provides two terms of academic and English language study modules to prepare you for a postgraduate degree at the University of Strathclyde. Choose from two subject pathways, depending to the degree you want to study. Once you successfully complete this programme and achieve the required grades, you can start your chosen Masters degree. This two-term pathway will prepare you for your chosen postgraduate degree at the Faculty of Engineering or Faculty of Science. You will study core modules, focusing on general skills and academic areas most useful to your chosen progression degree. Students achieve excellent progression, 93% of Pre-Masters Programme students who completed their course were offered a place to study at the University of Strathclyde in 2017. The Pre-Masters Programme starts in January or April. If your need to raise your English language level to meet the entry requirements, you can study the English for Pre-Masters course first.
