ATAR equivalent 55 including minimum subject results as follows:

Year 12 Mathematics 2 unit (any result) or Mathematics standard 2 ?80%

Interstate ATAR equivalent (such as Victoria’s ENTER or Queensland's OP) and Year 12 subject results equivalents, OR

Results in an overseas qualification deemed equivalent to minimum ATAR and individual subject results, OR

International Baccalaureate (IB)

If any of the above entry requirements are not met, applications will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.

ENGLISH REQUIREMENTS

To gain entry into this course you need to have met the following requirements:

IELTS Academic 5.5 (min 5.0 in Reading and Writing) or equivalent completed in the last two years; or

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS COMPLETED IN ENGLISH: Applicants may be considered as meeting the English language requirement if successfully completing two (2) years of secondary or tertiary study at an approved institution where:

the language of instruction was English; and

the institution is located in a country where the official language is English.

Academic transcripts and an official letter from the institution certifying that English was the sole language of instruction and assessment must be provided. Previous study in English is considered on a case-by-case basis and does not automatically meet UOW's English language requirement.

The following citizenships may be considered for an English language waiver under the above guideline: Bahamas, Barbados, Canada, Fiji, Ireland, Jamaica, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, Samoa, Singapore, Solomon Islands, South Africa, Tonga, Trinidad & Tobago, UK, USA.
