The Master of Philosophy (MPhil) degree is a one-year, research-only master's degree. The Master of Philosophy enables you to expand your research capabilities by focusing on a particular area of interest, under the supervision of AUT's expert academic staff. It can provide a pathway to more advanced research at doctoral level. You learn in a modern and collaborative environment, frequently working with your classmates on projects and taught by some of the best teaching and research staff in the country. Many of our programmes include valuable workplace experience with industry clients making it easy for you to network with potential employers and move from university to your future career.
