The Certificate III in Joinery provides comprehensive training in all practical and theoretical aspects of joinery. You will learn to use a range of specialist machinery, as well as preparing and working from computer-aided drawings and associated cutting lists. In regards to each machine, you will learn about the material you are processing and how to use the machine itself - from basic to high-end production machinery such as computer numerically controlled (CNC) machines. You will learn to use Oxy-LPG equipment, as well as to cut and install glass, install windows and doors and undertake sustainable practices in the construction industry. You'll be trained on full-sized projects in Holmesglen's specially designed and industry-standard facilities.
