It stresses the fundamentals while embracing the changes in advanced technology. It also develops the core transferable skills that will prepare you for a career change.<br><br>During Year 1, you’ll develop a wide range of practical skills, including welding, metal fabrication, machining, technical drawing, computing and experimental work. These practical, lifelong learning skills are developed further in Year 3 when you’ll undertake an individual project, combining research, design, mechanical development, testing, analysis, presentation and report writing skills.
