国际学生入学条件

There are no minimum academic requirements for entry.

English language requirements

IELTS test: General or Academic score of 5.5 with no band score lower than 5. TOEFL Internet-based test (iBT): Score of 46 (with a writing score of 14); PTE (Academic) score of 42 with no band score lower than 36; Cambridge English Qualifications: B2 First or B2 First for schools with a score of 162. No less than 154 in each skill. OET: Minimum of Grade C or 200 in all sub-tests. NZCEL - Level 3 (Applied). Language Cert - B2 Communicator International ESOL Written (LRW) PASS with no less than 25/50 in each skill and Spoken (S) PASS.

Other requirements

Students must provide a Medical Certificate issued by a General Practitioner, or provide a Seafarers Medical Certificate or equivalent.
Be physically fit and capable of participating in the practical training component
Applicants should be aware that there are MNZ seatime, eyesight and medical requirements if they wish to apply for MNZ Licences on completion of this programme.

This is an entry level maritime qualification, which, along with a completed MNZ Training Record Book and 200 hours sea time in an engineering role, can lead to a license as a Marine Engineer.<br>Develop core skills needed to keep your crew and the environment safe.<br>Marine Engineers ensure the safe operation and essential maintenance of systems for the benefit of the crew and surrounding environment.
