Study quantity surveying and learn skills that are in high demand. Learn about quantifying projects, estimating building costs, tendering and administering contracts. Many of our students get the chance to work in industry while becoming qualified. It's a two-year programme (students must complete year one and year two) and you'll come out ready to start your new role. In fact, many of our students get part-time work in the industry in their second year. This qualification meets the academic requirements of the New Zealand Institute of Building and provides entry as an affiliate member to the New Zealand Institute of Quantity Surveyors. Membership to NZIQS is free while you are a full time student.
