Modern vehicles are complex electronic systems that include in-vehicle networks, sensor nodes, drive-by-wire technology, infotainment, wireless connectivity, inter-vehicle communication, and most recently autonomous driving. The Wayne State University College of Engineering offers two doctoral degrees: Doctor of Philosophy in Computer Engineering, Doctor of Philosophy in Electrical Engineering.
