This program is an ideal way for graduates of a first-level electrical program to get hands-on experience and knowledge of electrical motors and controls, transformers, solid-state systems and automation technology. A special focus is placed on troubleshooting and problem-solving techniques. You install, troubleshoot and perform transistor calculations for power supply, rectification and electronic control circuits. You also learn to install and maintain transformers, single-phase motors, motor controls and PLC systems, and connect integrated circuits, amplifiers, solid state drives, AC generators and three-phase motors, according to specifications and applicable codes.
