The certificate program in Surveying Technology may be earned independently of any degree program. This program has been designed so that students or graduates can meet the minimum education requirements in surveying course work for registration as a Professional Surveyor. It is also designed to meet the education requirements for Technical Certification through the American Congress on Surveying and Mapping, National Society of Professional Surveyors. A minimum of 18 credits are required. All courses taken may be applied to an A.A.S. degree in Land Surveying and/or the B.S. degree in Surveying and Mapping.
