General Engineering covers all of engineering designing, developing, building, testing and maintaining. This program differs from the other engineering majors (Mechanical, Electrical, etc.) because it is an interdisciplinary, broadly focused major studying concepts related to several engineering disciplines. The initial coursework for General Engineers is the same as the course work taken by other engineering majors, and you will interact closely in many of the same courses other engineering students are taking for most of your junior and senior year courses. After a broad introduction to the subject, you will be able to explore the different available specialties based on your interests and start planning for your future career.
