The Civil and Environmental Engineering Department offers a program leading to the Master of Science in Engineering with specializations in Environmental Engineering, Transportation Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Structural Engineering, Structural Mechanics, and related fields.The Department also offers a program leading to the Doctor of Philosophy degree through the joint program with the University of Alabama in Birmingham (UAB).The MSE in Civil Engineering enables students to dive deeper into the principles of the field while putting them on an upward trajectory in their engineering career. It helps to develop a deep understanding of the various advanced concepts and techniques of civil engineering. Students will start to develop a critical attitude which can be used to solve various technical problems.
