A higher score of 79, 550 is required for all applicants to programs in the College of Arts and Sciences and the Frank H Dotterweich College of Engineering This score must be sent directly from the Educational Testing Services ETS and dated within two 2 years of enrolment.
TAMUK ELTC completion of program letter with a minimum average of 90 percent and levels from Low Advanced, Advanced Plus or High Advanced.

The Natural Gas Engineering Program seeks to prepare graduates who, after the first few years of their graduation, have:<br><br>Established themselves either as practicing natural gas engineers, or by gaining additional formal education through enrollment in either an engineering or business graduate school program.<br>Adapted to ever-changing demands by updating their core knowledge and abilities through on-the-job training and continuing education courses.<br>Functioned successfully in their professional responsibilities, which includes safety, health, environmental, and ethical aspects.<br>Established themselves as critical, flexible thinkers with demonstrated potential as future technology experts or technology managers in their profession and in society.<br><br>Student Outcomes of the Natural Gas Engineering Program<br>The graduates of the Natural Gas Engineering program will have:<br><br>1. An ability to identify, formulate, and solve complex engineering problems by applying principles of engineering, science, and mathematics<br>2. An ability to apply engineering design to produce solutions that meet specified needs with consideration of public health, safety, and welfare, as well as global, cultural, social, environmental, and economic factors<br>3. An ability to communicate effectively with a range of audiences<br>4. An ability to recognize ethical and professional responsibilities in engineering situations and make informed judgments, which must consider the impact of engineering solutions in global, economic, environmental, and societal contexts
