Students earning a certificate in Groundwater Management will:<br><br>Understand the principles of groundwater flow and the movement of contaminants in groundwater, be able to understand the principles in locating and designing municipal production wells,<br>Understand the principles of managing groundwater basins and conjunctive use of surface and groundwater, and be knowledgeable in groundwater rights and groundwater basin adjudication, and<br>Apply advanced computer models to groundwater and surface water systems.
