国际学生入学条件
All applicants must hold a Bachelor's degree, typically in engineering, physical sciences, mathematics, or other quantitative fields, from an accredited institution. Applicants with undergraduate degrees in other disciplines are evaluated on a case by case basis and may be accepted with the stipulation that deficiencies in prerequisite undergraduate coursework be corrected before enrolling in graduate courses. In addition to the requirements set forth by the Graduate School, applicants must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 to apply to the Master’s Program, and a minimum GPA of 3.5 to apply to the Doctoral Program. Applicants with lower GPAs may be considered and accepted in a provisional basis if other indicators of ability are exceptional (letters of recommendation, GRE scores, prior experience, etc.).

课程简介
This program provides students with in-depth knowledge in a range of topics critical to the field from the more traditional areas of transportation planning, travel behavior, traffic operations, safety, and design to system optimization, transportation economics and policy, infrastructure vulnerability and protection, emissions estimation, and sustainability analysis. Research in this program is interdisciplinary, incorporating elements of mathematics, computer science, architecture and urban planning, operations research and management science, logistics, economics, and psychology. The Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering offers graduate courses leading to the Master of Science and Doctor of Philosophy degrees. All programs are planned on an individual basis by the student and an adviser taking into consideration the student's background and special interests. Areas of concentration at both the master's and doctoral levels include: transportation engineering, environmental engineering, water resources engineering, structural engineering, geotechnical engineering, civil systems, and project management.
