have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
have successfully (cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher) completed at least one year of full-time study in a degree program at a regionally accredited four-year US College or university.
IELTS scores with an overall band score of at least 6.5. Minimum test scores for each section are listed below: Listening 6.5, Reading 6.5, Writing 6.5, Speaking 6.5
TOEFL with a total score of at least 80 on the Internet-based Test (iBT), and with minimum test scores for each section of: Listening 18 points, Reading 18 points, Writing 18 points.
Computer-based TOEFL scores must be 213 or higher (with at least 17 on three sections and no section score below 13). The paper-based test requires a score of 550 or higher (with scores of 50 on at least two of the three sections and no section score below 45).

The flagship degree is the Ph.D. in Computer Science, which prepares students for leadership positions in academia, industry research labs, and government. Alternatively, the master's degree program offers the Master of Science (thesis) and the Master of Computer Science (non-thesis, available via either distance learning or on-campus enrollment). There is also a Master of Computer Networking degree provided jointly through the Computer Science and the Electrical and Computer Engineering departments (see Computer Networking). Our graduate students also benefit from access to specialized career services. This includes the Corporate & Career Services suite, with opportunities for on-campus interviews, small group career workshops, virtual practice interviews, and individual career advising.<br><br>As software becomes increasingly important to our day-to-day lives, building and maintaining high quality software is critical.<br><br>The Masters Track in Software Engineering teaches students the skills necessary to build and maintain such software systems. Topics include both an overview of software engineering and a variety of more in-depth topics, including software security, testing, and DevOps. The track has offerings both in the state-of-the-practice and state-of-the-art software engineering, with a special focus on evidence-based practice.
