All bachelor's degree requirements must be met. 12 credits of 500-level EEC courses must be taken (in addition to, or as approved substitutions for undergraduate elective requirements) in year 4 while completing the bachelor's degree.500-level and/or 600-level courses will be taken in year 5 as a graduate student.The 12 credits of 500-level coursework completed during undergraduate studies will be applied to both the bachelor's degree and the master's degree. Students may apply or transfer a maximum of 12 graduate credit hours taken while an undergraduate. No additional graduate credit hours taken as an undergraduate may be applied or transferred to the graduate record.An accelerated program that enables EECS students to earn a Bachelor of Electrical or Computer Engineering degree as well as a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering in five years (BEE, BCE plus MSEE). It also offers an accelerated program that would enable students to a earn a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science degree as well as a Master of Computer and Information Science in 5 years (BSCS plus MCIS). The Accelerated Master's Program is designed to attract the best current undergraduate students. The program is designed for students who demonstrate an interest in, and ability for, additional education beyond the Bachelor's degree. Students will have the opportunity to enroll in graduate courses during their third (Junior) and fourth (Senior) years of study.
