课程简介
As tomorrow's structural engineers, students will face the challenge of providing safe and economical structures for a changing society. They must simultaneously maintain and improve the aging infrastructure, increase the efficiency in utilization of construction materials, and plan for and design tomorrow's built environment. Tailor your studies to fit your needs and interests: gain a strong foundation for a career in professional practice, research, or teaching. WSU's program incorporates structural engineering in the study of materials for civil structures, emphasizing the interdependence between construction materials and structures in which they are used. WSU's Wood Materials & Engineering Laboratory holds over 30 patents and has been an international leader for 50 years in developing high-performance wood products for building. Learn fundamental engineering principles plus an intensive introduction to each of the specializations within civil engineering.
