As a chemical engineering major, you will apply the principles of multidisciplinary sciences, problem solving, economics, and human relations to develop new products and processes, as well as design, build, and supervise facilities that convert raw materials into products and services for the common good.<br><br>Our chemical engineering program will provide you with fundamental science and engineering skills, applied engineering knowledge, and extensive experiential laboratory learning which culminate in a real-world design capstone. UD successfully integrates these core technical competencies with a balanced general education, opportunities for industrial or research involvement, and an overarching community environment, to create a unique, well-rounded educational experience that will prepare you for later success in the workforce, graduate school, or professional school.
