工学院提供研究生课程，导致工程哲学博士（博士学位）。研究与创新工程副院长是该计划的主任。目前，化学工程，土木与环境工程，计算机科学，电气与计算机工程和机械工程系参加了该计划。学生应展示其学科领域的知识广度和研究主题特定领域的深度。学生应获得从事独立学术工作和研究的经验。学生应证明自己有能力识别和定义研究主题。学生进行的研究工作应有助于工程领域的现有知识。
Chemical engineering covers a broad range of industries, including petroleum, environmental, biotechnology, biomedicine, pharmaceutical, materials, food and more. This program of study is mainly concerned with the design, scaling (up or down), operation and control of the transformation and separation of raw materials into valuable products.
