Students in Environmental Engineering at Valpo apply their knowledge of chemistry and biology to improve the quality of the Earth's air, water, and soil. Our close proximity to Lake Michigan presents many opportunities for practical, hands-on experiences with managing water resources, as does our state-of-the-art environmental engineering lab. Environmental Engineering students develop strong communication and leadership skills to accompany their technical expertise.
