课程简介
Construction Management graduates construction professionals qualified to fill a variety of rewarding design, managerial, and supervisory roles in a multi-faceted, dynamic industry. Students are prepared with the necessary knowledge, skills, and experience to achieve success in their chosen construction fields. The Construction Management faculty members believe students learn by doing and that their real-world experiences enhance professors? ability to teach. This is reinforced by faculty members teaching courses in their fields of construction experience and by hands-on technical and computer laboratories. Local industry support enhances the program further by providing scholarships, internships, and high starting salaries. The environmental engineering program combines courses in civil engineering with courses math, chemistry, physics, geology, and biology to prepare graduates to practice engineering in industry, at an engineering design firm, or in a government agency.Basic courses in engineering science prepare students for the required passage of the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) examination, the first step toward licensure as an Engineer Intern (EI) or Professional Engineer (PE).Students seeking a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Engineering degree must pass each CNMG course with a grade of C or greater, must achieve at least a 2.00 grade point average (GPA) in the major (all required MATH, STAT, BIOL, CHEM, ERSC, PHYS, and CNMG courses), and also must pass the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) examination. A cumulative grade point average of 2.00 or above is required for all work completed at UA Little Rock.
