Engineering physics is at the intersection of electrical engineering, mathematics, applied physics, and the natural sciences, preparing engineering physicists to tackle the big problems at the leading edge of innovation and technology.<br><br>The University of Alberta's Engineering Physics program starts with a strong foundation in mathematics and physics and builds upon these principles through active research projects in areas such as artificial intelligence, microelectronics, robotics systems, autonomous systems, and quantum computing.
