The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering offers programs leading to the degrees of Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, and Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering. Both of the engineering degree programs are fully accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission (EAC) of the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET). In addition, the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering offers a degree program leading to the degree of Bachelor of Science in Engineering Physics. Engineering Physics is accredited by the Illinois Board of Higher Education. To earn a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Physics degree from UIC, students need to complete university and college degree requirements.
