The Electrical Engineering Associates of Science degree program prepares students for transfer to a four-year institution to complete their baccalaureate degree in engineering and opens the door for entry-level internships in engineering. Special emphasis is given to developing skills in critical thinking, communication, teamwork, and entry-level skills in electronics design and embedded systems software development.<br>Engineering is the art of applying scientific and mathematical principles, experience, judgment, and common sense to make things that benefit people and society.<br><br>Engineering courses at Skyline College prepare students to transfer into a bachelor's degree program. Students take a core of math and science classes along with the engineering classes appropriate for their transfer goals.
