Accreditation assures prospective students, employers, graduate schools, and certification and registration boards that the program meets rigorous quality standards and produces graduates who are prepared to be successful in critical technical fields. NU's program, faculty, and administration completed an intensive 18-month, five-step review process before being awarded this highly regarded designation.<br><br>The Electrical and Computer Engineering program involves the study of hardware, software, communications, and the interactions between them. NU's curriculum focuses on the theories, principles, and practices of traditional electrical engineering and mathematics and applies them to the design of computers and computer-based devices.
