The Master of Science program in Electrical Engineering is designed to provide students with in-depth knowledge and skills within Electrical and Computer Engineering as well as opportunities to expand their proficiency to new areas in the field. Applicants must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field with an overall GPA of 2.75 or better to be considered for admission. A promising applicant with a GPA between 2.5 and 2.74 may be admitted as a special action student. Special action students must achieve an overall GPA of 3.0 for four qualifying courses as approved in advance by the department.
