国际学生入学条件

bachelor's degree in engineering or natural sciences with a minimum 2.75 GPA is required.
A promising applicant with a GPA between 2.5 and 2.74 may be admitted as a special action student. Special action students must achieve an overall GPA of 3.0 for three qualifying courses (9 units) as approved in advance by the program director.
Students with other BS degrees or from non-ABET accredited programs may be admitted with conditions. Prerequisite courses will be required only for conditionally admitted students.
Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL)- 80 ibT or higher, 550 pbt
International English Language Testing System (IELTS)- Band 6.0 or higher

The Master of Science degree in Materials Science and Engineering emphasizes on fundamentals of materials science and engineering to enable students to build a better tomorrow through materials innovations. The program prepares graduate students for industrial positions in related fields as well as for further study at the doctoral level .A total of 30 semester units is required, of which, at least 15 units must be 5000-level courses. The advice and approval of the program director must be obtained before enrolling in any course.
