The MLS track in International Law is designed to equip those employed, or seeking employment, in the fields of Public International Law or International Business. The International Law track begins with a foundational course in International Law, which provides students with a basic understanding of the legal rules which govern this subject area. Students pursuing this track can then take more specialized courses in either Public International Law, where they will learn the basics of inter-state relations, treaty law, and human rights, or in International Business, where they will pursue courses in international business transactions, international arbitration, and international taxation. As part of this track, students may also have the opportunity to take courses in other related disciplines, such as international relations, and international finance and accounting. Upon completion of the International Law track, students will have gained a basic understanding of the international legal system, as it applies to either inter-state relations, or international business.
