An applicant seeking admission as J.D. student will be eligible to apply to Marquette Law School if he/she:

has earned a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university before enrolling in the Law School,
has taken the Law School Admission Test (LSAT). (LSAT scores taken within the last five years are considered valid.),
has taken the TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) if one's undergraduate education was completed in a language other than English. TOEFL score will be included in the Foreign Credential Evaluation document that will be included in the LSDAS law school report.
The only exception to this requirement is if an applicant has earned a bachelor's, graduate, or professional degree at a college or university where English was the language of instruction AND that college or university is located in a country where English is the primary language.
subscribes to the LSAC's Credential Assembly Service (CAS). The CAS Report provides the Law School with copies of all undergraduate and graduate transcripts (if applicable), LSAT score or scores, a copy of the LSAT writing sample and letter(s) of recommendation, and an undergraduate academic transcript summary and analysis
The minimum acceptable undergraduate (or graduate, where applicable) GPA is 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.

A TOEFL score of 600 or higher on the paper-based TOEFL, or of 250 or higher on the electronic TOEFL, or of 100 or higher on the internet-based TOEFL (iBT) is considered competitive for applicants to the program.
